FN0376-SANITARY - Emergency Closure for oysters in Cresent Channel, Bold Island, Subarea 13-12 which includes BC Land Registry Shellfish Aquaculture Tenure #1402975.
Effective immediately there is a harvest prohibition for oysters from BC Aquaculture Tenure Land File #1402975 in Subarea 13-12 until further notice. This includes the transfer of oysters to or from BC Aquaculture Tenure Land File #1402975. Due to potential contamination, the Pacific Region Interdepartmental Shellfish Committee agrees a closure is warranted for oysters at this land file until further notice. Emergency Closure Area 13.oo - Aquaculture Lease Land File # 1402975 The waters and intertidal foreshore of BC Land Registry aquaculture tenure # 1402975, Subarea 13-12 , Cresent Channel, Bold Island, inside a line drawn from point on land at 50°10.12' north latitude and 125°09.91' west longitude, thence northwesterly to a point in water at 50°10.22'north latitude and 125°10.06'west longitude, thence northeasterly to a point in waster at 50°10.23' north latitude and 125°10.02' west longitude, thence southeasterly to a point in water at 50°10.13' north latitude and 125°09.87' west longitude, thence northwesterly to a, back to the point of commencement.
