Effective immediately until further notice: Due to shellfish product on BC Land 
Registry Aquaculture Tenure # 278757 exceeding the bacteriological standard for 
E.coli in raw shellfish, the Pacific Region Interdepartmental Shellfish 
Committee has agreed that a closure is warranted.

Harvest of bivalve shellfish is now prohibited until further notice Southeast 
of Fanny Bay and Ships Point, Baynes Sound, Subarea 14-8 which includes BC Land 
Registry Shellfish Aquaculture Tenure # 278757.

The waters and intertidal foreshore of BC Land Registry aquaculture tenure # 
278757, Subarea 14-8, Southeast of Fanny Bay and Ships Point, Baynes Sound, , 
inside a line drawn from a point on land at 49°30.13' north latitude and 124°
47.96' west longitude, thence northeasterly to a point in water at 49°30.18' 
north latitude and 124°47.90'west longitude, thence southeasterly to a point in 
water at 49°30.04 north latitude and 124°47.54' west longitude, thence 
southwesterly to a point on land at 49°29.93' north latitude and 124°47.64' 
west longitude, thence northwesterly back to the point of commencement.
