Fishery Notice

The 2017 commercial Sablefish fishery will be open at 00:01 hours local time, 
February 21, 2017, until 23:59 hours local time, February 20, 2018. The 
commercial Sablefish fishery is open in areas 1, 2, 101, 108 to 111, 121, 123 
to 127, 130, 142, Sub-area 102-3 and that portion of Subarea 102-2 that lies 
southerly of a line from 52º10.00' north latitude and 130º57.395' west 
longitude to 52º27.020' north latitude and 130º16.621' west longitude (portions 
of Groundfish Management Areas 3C, 3D, 5A, 5B, 5C, 5D, and 5E), with the 
exception of the closures listed in the 2017 Sablefish Commercial Harvest Plan 
within the Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for Groundfish. 

Please note that Variation Order 2017-044, 2017-045, and 2014-107 are in effect.
