Opening 00:01 hours February 10, 2017 in the following Quota Areas: SUMMARY: RU24a Mid-Principe Channel RU25 Petrel Channel RU45 Laredo Inlet RU49 Finlayson Channel (excluding Subarea 7-9 portion) Variation Order Nos. 2017-112 to 115 are in effect. The north coast fishery continues in the following quota areas: RU24b Lower Principe Channel RU31a Moore Islands RU31b Harvey Islands RU32 Calamity Bay RU33 Otter Pass RU34b Develin Bay RU36a Estevan Group East RU43 Upper Laredo RU44 Lower Laredo RU46a Laredo Sound Details: RU24a Mid Principe Channel a) That portion of Subarea 5-17 north of a line running due east from Oar Point. b) Subarea 5-18. RU25 Petrel Channel Subareas 5-14, 5-15 and 5-16. RU45 Laredo Inlet a) That portion of Subarea 6-16 east of a line running from Wilby Point on Swindle Island to Dallain Point on Princess Royal Island (Refer to Canadian Hydrographic Service Chart #3737). b) Subarea 6-19. RU49 Finlayson Channel a) Subareas 7-4, 7-5 and 7-6. This opening excludes the portion of Subarea 7-9 normally including in this Quota Area. Notes: All notification and reporting requirements are outlined in Appendix 1 of the Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP). The North Coast fishing protocol is available from Pauline Ridings or D&D Pacific Fisheries. D&D Pacific Fisheries will direct the fleet. South Coast areas are identified on a separate notice.
