FN0938-RECREATIONAL - Salmon - Tlell River - Subarea 102-1 - Pink Salmon Daily Limit
Effective September 2, 2016 to March 31, 2017, the recreational daily limit for pink salmon is zero (0), in the tidal waters of the Tlell River. Pink salmon migration past the Tlell River fish enumeration fence has been very poor to August 30th, 2016, with also a low abundance of pinks in the lower river. Water levels in the river have also been extremely low to date. Due to these factors and as recommended by the North Coast Sport Fishing Advisory Committee, non-retention of pink salmon has been implemented.
