FN1035-RECREATIONAL - SALMON - Chinook and Sockeye - Region 3 - South Thompson River - Opening September 10 to 22, 2022
Effective one hour before sunrise on September 10, 2022 until one hour after sunset on September 22, 2022, you may retain two (2) Sockeye salmon per day in that portion of the South Thompson River from the green can buoy near outlet of Little River, including Little Shuswap Lake, to the fishing boundary sign approximately 100 m downstream of Campbell Creek. Fishing is permitted during daylight hours only. Daylight hours only refers to (one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset). Reference to sunrise and sunset means the times for those events as calculated by the National Research Council of Canada and published daily at http://weather.gc.ca/city/pages/bc-45_metric_e.html This area is also open to the retention of Chinook salmon with a daily limit of four (4), only two of which may be over 50 cm. The aggregate daily limit for all salmon species is four (4) per day. Variation Order(s): 2022-RCT-409, 2022-RFQ-410 Notes: The aggregate daily limit for all species of Pacific salmon from tidal and non-tidal waters combined is four (4). Individual species limits also apply. Single barbless hooks are required when fishing for salmon in non-tidal waters of British Columbia. If you're going fishing for salmon in non-tidal (fresh) waters, you need a Non-Tidal Angling Licence, issued by the Province of British Columbia. Visit the provincial website to buy your licence. Licences are available to B.C. residents and non-residents. Fees may vary and are listed online.
