FN0774-Recreational - Salmon - Region 2: Closure to angling in non-tidal rivers, streams, and sloughs in M.U. 2-4: Little Campbell River, Serpentine River, Nicomekl River
Effective immediately until September 15, 2021 the following areas are closed to angling: All non-tidal rivers, streams and sloughs in M.U. 2-4, with the following exceptions: Sumas River and Chilliwack River. Systems closed to angling include the following: Little Campbell River, Serpentine River, Nicomekl River. This is in response to drought conditions creating extremely low flows and high water temperatures. This order is made in conjunction with a Provincial order. The result of these two orders is a complete angling closure in the listed waters. Additional management actions such as earlier openings or extended closures may be considered on a case-by-case basis throughout the region as environmental conditions and fish abundance dictate.
