FN1039-RECREATIONAL - Salmon - Coho - Region 1 - Qualicum River - Daily Limits - Effective Immediately
Effective immediately until 23:59 hours December 31, 2020, the daily limit of Coho Salmon is two (2) per day (marked or unmarked) in the following waters: Qualicum River - those waters upstream of the Big Qualicum Hatchery upper weir (located approximately 125 m downstream of the E&N railway bridge). Fishers are reminded of the following no fishing area that is still in effect until 23:59 hours October 15, 2020: Qualicum River - those waters downstream of the Big Qualicum Hatchery upper weir (located approximately 125 m downstream of the E&N railway bridge) to the QFN boundary fence located approximately 100 m downstream of the hatchery counting fence. Fishers are also reminded that there is a year round fishing closure downstream of the QFN boundary fence. Please note there is a year round gear restriction for all areas open to fishing: Single barbless hook no more than 15 mm from shank to point.
