FN0960-RECREATIONAL - Salmon - Chinook and Coho - Region 1 - Puntledge/Courtenay Rivers - Angling Opportunities - Effective September 15, 2020
Effective 00:01 hours September 15, until 23:59 hours November 30, 2020, the daily limit for Chinook Salmon is two (2) per day in the following area: Puntledge and Courtenay Rivers downstream from a white triangular fishing boundary sign located 75 m downstream of the weir at the lower hatchery (excluding the Morrison Creek closure). Effective 00:01 hours October 1, to 23:59 hours November 30, 2020 the daily limit of Coho Salmon is one (1) per day, hatchery marked only, in the above noted area. Anglers are reminded that intentionally (willfully) foul-hooking fish or attempting to foul hook fish is illegal and that non-compliance may result in closure of the fishery. (Foul hook is defined as: hooking a fish in any part of its body other than the mouth). Variation Order: 2020-RFQ-482 Did you witness suspicious fishing activity or a violation?
