Fishery Notice

This notice serves to inform aquaculture licence holders that the Annual 
Aquaculture Statistical Report (AASR) form was emailed to all licence holders 
during the week of December 16 - 20. If you have not received an email with 
your AASR please contact us at fishstats@dfo-mpo.gc.ca.

Pursuant to the Pacific Aquaculture Regulations (Section 4) all Aquaculture 
licence holders are required to complete and submit an Annual Aquaculture 
Statistical Report (AASR) for the previous calendar year. For 2019, these 
reports are due by January 25, 2020. Failure to submit your completed report(s) 
is a violation against the Fisheries Act and you may be charged as a result. 
Violators will be referred to a Conservation and Protection Fishery Officer for 
enforcement action.

If you have had no activity on site for the reporting year, you are still 
required to complete the electronic AASR document(s) in full for all 
aquaculture sites for which you are the licence holder.
