Fishery Notice

Lingcod closed for commercial fishing by hook and line/trap gear effective 
November 14, 2019 (to revoke Variation Order 2019-67). From November 15, 2019 
until March 31, 2020 a spawning closure for the retention of Lingcod by hook 
and line gear is in effect for all areas. 

All commercial hook and line/trap vessels that have retained any Lingcod must 
have their fish validated by a DFO-certified dockside observer no later than 
November 21, 2019. 

Permanent reallocation requests for the 2019/2020 season for all species must 
be submitted to GMU prior to 16:00 February 2, 2020.  

Temporary reallocation requests for the 2019/2020 season for all species must 
be submitted to GMU prior to 16:00 February 20, 2020.
