Mid Vancouver Island Chum Update (Areas 17 to 19)

Escapement estimates to date are as follows: 

Nanaimo River, November 20 - 20,000 - Target Escapement 40,000. 
Cowichan River, November 18 - 93,000 - Target Escapement 160,000.
Goldstream River, November 16 - 9,921 live/6,046 dead - Target Escapement 
15,000.

Area 17 - Nanaimo - closed for the balance of the season. 

Area 18 - Cowichan - closed for the balance of the season.

Area 19 - Goldstream - closed for the balance of the season.

Today, Thursday, November 21, was the last Chum Working Group call of the 2019 
season. 

There will be no further Mid Vancouver Island Chum updates in 2019 and the 
final escapement estimates will be available after all of the data has been 
reviewed.
