An asterisk indicates a change in area description for the 2019 season: SUMMARY 16A, Sechelt Inlet 16B, Jervis Inlet 16C, Texada Island 16D, Lasqueti Island Variation Order Nos. 2019-565 to -568 FISHERY CONTINUES: East Coast Vancouver Island: 12H, Turnour Island 12I, Gilford Island North Variation Order Nos. 2019-553 and -554 11D, Slingsby Channel* Variation Orders Nos. 2019-540. 12G, SW Queen Charlotte Strait Variation Order No. 2019-551 West Coast Vancouver Island: 23A, SE Barkley Sound 24A, North Clayoquot 24B, South Clayoquot Variation Orders Nos. 2019-545 to 547. Details: 16A, Sechelt Inlet a) Subareas 16-6 to 16-8. b) Subarea 16-9 excluding those waters of Skookumchuck Narrows and Sechelt Rapids bounded on the west by a line from a point on the foreshore at the westerly limit of Secret Bay on Sechelt Peninsula thence 50 degrees true to a point on the foreshore on the mainland; and the east by a line from Raland Point on Sechelt Peninsula, thence 50 degrees true to a point on the foreshore on the mainland [Skookumchuck Provincial Park]. 16B, Jervis Inlet a) Subareas 16-10, 16-12 and 16-13. b) Subarea 16-11 excluding the portion shoreward of the 30 metre depth contour line from Scotch Fir Point to Culloden Point [the entire mainland portion of Subarea 16-11], as shown on Chart 3514 published by the Canadian Hydrographic Service. [Jervis Inlet Experimental Fishing Area]. 16C, Texada Island Subareas 15-1, 16-18, 16-21 and 16-22. 16D, Lasqueti Island Subareas 14-3, 16-19 and 16-20. Notes: This fishery is scheduled to be completed by 2359 hrs December 7, 2019. Fishing areas will close prior to December 7 as quotas are achieved. This fishery is managed on an individual quota of 16,000 lbs/license with port validation. Fishermen must hail in to D&D Pacific Fisheries Ltd (1-800-775- 5505) at least 24 hrs prior to fishing and within 24 hrs of terminating fishing in an area. All landings must be validated.
