Closing 23:59 hours September 25, 2019 in the following Geoduck Management Areas (GMAs): SUMMARY: CCA05 Prince Group CCA08 Simmonds Group Variation Order No. 2019-521 revoked CCA06a Latta Island CCA06b Hunter Channel CCA07a McNaughton Group North CCA07b McNaughton Group - Kinsmen Variation Order No. 2019-522 revoked CCD10 SW Price Island (Day Point) CCD11 West Price Island CCD12 Milbanke Sound South Variation Order No. 2019-488 revoked. The north coast fishery continues in the following GMAs: CCB01 Mathieson Channel CCB03 Ivory Island Variation Order No. 2019-509 CCD03 Laredo Inlet CCD04 Kitasu Bay Variation Order No. 2019-518 Note: Please see the most recent Fishery Notice - Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Update, as recommended by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and issued by DFO. Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Updates can change at any time please confirm the required Pacific Fisheries Management Subarea is open prior to fishing. DETAILS: NOTES: South Coast areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2019/20 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through geoduck beds and GMAs.
