Fishery Notice

A seasonal sanitary shellfish closure is in effect from July 1, 2019 to 
September 15, 2019 in Area 13 as a result of recommendations from the Pacific 
Region Interdepartmental Shellfish Committee.

Seasonal Closure 13.F Western Gorge Harbour, Cortes Island:

The waters and intertidal foreshore of western Gorge Harbour, Cortes Island 
lying west of a line drawn from the base of the marina boat ramp at 50°06.04' 
north latitude and 125°01.45' west longitude, thence in a southwesterly 
direction to a point of land on the opposite shore at 50°05.93' north latitude 
and 125°01.72' west longitude during the period July 1 to September 15 each 
year.
