Fishery Notice

Further to FN0406, this notice is a reminder that the Commercial Salmon 
Advisory Board (CSAB) Salmon Area Harvest Committee Representative Election is 
open for voting.  Ballots were emailed out to salmon licence eligibility 
holders on May 3rd, 2019 to the email associated with each vessel licence. The 
deadline for submission of election ballots is 23:59 on Friday May 31, 2019.  

The Area Harvest Committees provide a forum for the exchange of information and 
advice between stakeholders and DFO on issues important to the management of 
salmon fisheries. It is important that eligible voters submit their voting 
ballots to elect their representatives. The election will be for the entire 
board. Half of the positions which receive the most votes will be for 2 year 
terms and the other half of positions will be for 1 year terms.

If you have not received an email from vote@simplyvoting.com, contact Mikaela 
Bacon via email at Mikaela.Bacon@dfo-mpo.gc.ca or by phone at 604-666-3140 for 
voting support.
