Opening 00:01 Hours May 3, 2019 in the following Geoduck Management Areas (GMAs): SUMMARY: CCB12 Joassa Channel/Raymond Passage Variation Order No. 2019-258 The north coast fishery continues in the following GMAs: CCB06 St. John Harbour CCB07 Cape Mark (Bowling Alley) CCB08 Godfrey Rock Variation Order No. 2019-238 CCB10 Thompson Bay CCB11 Houghton Island Variation Order No. 2019-239 CCA01 McMullin Group CCA02 Stryker Island CCA03 Tribal Group CCA04 Admiral Group Variation Order No. 2019-237 CCA06a Latta Island CCA06b Hunter Channel CCA07a McNaughton Group North CCA07b McNaughton Group - Kinsmen CCA07c McNaughton Group South Variation Order No. 2019-216 CCA05 Prince Group CCA08 Simmonds Group Variation Order No. 2019-152 Note: Please see the most recent Fishery Notice - Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Update, as recommended by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and issued by DFO. Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Updates can change at any time please confirm the required Pacific Fisheries Management Subarea is open prior to fishing. DETAILS: GMA CCB12, Joassa Channel/Raymond Passage: 1) That portion of Subarea 7-23 south of the parallel passing through 52 degrees 12.39 minutes north latitude and north of a line running through 52 degrees 06.88 minutes north latitude. 2) Subarea 7-24. NOTES: South Coast areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2019/20 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through geoduck beds and GMAs.
