FN0003-SANITARY - Changes to Sanitary Closures for Bivalve Shellfish in Area 4


The following new, revised or revoked sanitary shellfish closure boundaries are 
now in effect as a result of recommendations from the Pacific Region 
Interdepartmental Shellfish Committee: 

Closure 4.6	Tuck Inlet - a new closure is now in effect in the following 
area:

The waters and intertidal foreshore of Tuck Inlet, in the vicinity of Prince 
Rupert Harbour, north of a line drawn from a point on land at 54°21.49' north 
latitude and 130°16.97' west longitude due east to a point on land at 54°21.54' 
north latitude and 130°15.60' west longitude. [NAD 83]

January 1 to December 31

Note that this notice does not describe other sanitary closures which may be in 
effect, or Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP, red tide), Domoic Acid Poisoning 
and Diarrheic Shellfish Poisoning and other marine biotoxin closures.  Detailed
