FN1073-COMMERCIAL - Pelagics: Tuna - Nominations for Tuna Advisory Board Closing October 5, 2018
This is a reminder that the nomination period for commercial representatives for the Tuna Advisory Board (TAB) closes on Friday October 5, 2018. Nomination forms are available online at: https://www.pac.dfo- mpo.gc.ca/consultation/pelag/tab-cct/tab-nom-eng.pdf. Nominations can be submitted by mail or email. MAILING ADDRESS: Pelagics Management Unit 200-401 Burrard Street Vancouver, BC V6C 3S4 EMAIL: Bradley.Langman@dfo-mpo.gc.ca Nominations will only be counted for the zones for which you are eligible - please see the instructions on the nomination form. Seats up for election are 1 High Seas Representative, 2 Canadian Zone Representatives, and 2 USA Zone Representatives. The terms for these positions will run from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021. Following the nomination period, ballots will be sent by mail or email to all eligible vessel owners. The voting period will close on November 30. Final results will be announced mid-December.
