Fishery Notice

Dive Vessel Royal Pride has recently completed work in Cunningham Pass, Stumaun 
Bay and on the northern tip Finlayson Island. With work completed in the Big 
Bay area the Royal Pride will continue work towards finishing off the remaining 
spawn in Kitkatla. Below is a brief summary of the work completed from Big Bay 
south to Duncan Bay.

Ave. layers: 1.25

Big Bay

Spawn 1: Spawn date: March 25 spawn length T=700m; U=700m; M=0m
Average layers: 0.01-0.25

Spawn 2: spawn date: March 24; spawn length; T=350m; U=350m; M=0m
average layers: 0.5

Tree Bluff; spawn date: March 23; spawn length; T=4900m; U=4550m;M=4200m
average layers: U=0.75-1.0 M=.25

Swamp Island; Spawn date: march 25-26; spawn length; T=4200m;U=2450;M=4200m
Ave. layers: 0.75

Duncan Bay: spawn date: March 25; spawn length ; T=700m; U=350m; M=700m
average layers: 0.01-0.75

Lax Kw'alaams fisheries continue to patrol and monitor any new spawn from Work 
channel south to Tugwell Island. To date no new spawn has been observed.

Total to date an estimated 20nm of spawn has been observed from Ryan Pt. north 
to Stumaun Bay/Finlayson Island.
