A commercial economic opportunity fishery is authorized for Secwepemc Fisheries Commission for chinook and pink salmon using gill nets effective 00:01 hours September 7, 2015 until 23:59 hours September 22, 2015 in the waters of Kamloops Lake. The following gear types are permitted; 8" mesh gill nets. One vessel will be operated with a maximum of six gill nets set at any one time. Only individuals designated by the Secwepemc Fisheries Commission are authorized to participate in this fishery. All aspects of the communal licence will be enforced. Dual Fishing will be permitted to allow retention of non-target species for Food, Social and Ceremonial purposes. Notes: Monitoring requirements consist of weekly E-log reporting and independent validation of catch 48 hours after offload at the plant.
