FN0422-RECREATIONAL - Shellfish and Groundfish - Re-opening of Shellfish and Groundfish in Subareas 28-6 to 28-9


This notice is further to FN0339 regarding the closure of Subareas 28-6 to 28-9 
for the recreational harvest of all shellfish and groundfish species. 

Effective immediately, the following portions of Area 28: Subareas 28-6 to 28-9 
inclusive are reopened to the harvest of crab, prawn and groundfish species.

Reminder: Recreational fishing between Lions Gate Bridge and Ironworkers 
Memorial Bridge (also known as Second Narrows Bridge) is closed year around.
 
In addition, the annual closure for all species of clam, oysters, mussels, and 
scallops is in effect from April 1 to March 31 in the following Pacific Fishery 
Management Areas: Subareas 28-6 to 29-9.
