FN1307-Groundfish: 2025/2026 IFMP - Changes to Licence Species Temporary Quota Caps and Quota Landings Temporary Quota Caps for the Halibut Sector.
The commercial groundfish fishery is hereby notified of the following changes to the 2025/2026 Integrated Fisheries Management Plan for Groundfish. These changes take effect immediately: 2025/26 Integrated Fisheries Management Plan for Groundfish Appendix 6, Section 6.3.1 - Licence Species Temporary Quota Caps The Halibut sector Licence Species Temporary Quota Caps have been removed for the following species: Quillback Rockfish ---------------- coastwide -------- n/a Copper, China and Tiger rockfish -- coastwide -------- n/a Silvergray Rockfish --------------- coastwide -------- n/a Canary Rockfish ------------------- coastwide -------- n/a Longnose Skate -------------------- coastwide -------- n/a Big Skate ------------------------- coastwide -------- n/a Appendix 6, Section 6.3.3 - Quota Landings Temporary Quota Caps The Halibut sector Quota Landings Temporary Quota Caps have been adjusted to the defined maximums for the following species: Yelloweye Rockfish ----------------- Coastwide ------------ up to 8,000 lbs. Lingcod ---------------------------- Coastwide ----------- up to 30,000 lbs. Sablefish -------------------------- Coastwide ----------- up to 14,250 lbs.
