FN1252-CORRECTION: Reminder - 2025 Commercial Halibut closing date/time

The Groundfish Management Unit would like to remind commercial harvesters that the 2025 Halibut fishery will close at 23:59 hours local time, December 7, 2025. Following the closure of the fishery, all fish caught under the authority of a Halibut license eligibility must be landed and validated by a DFO-designated Groundfish dockside observer no later than 23:59 hours local time, December 14, 2025.
