FN1210-West Coast Commercial Fisheries Modernization - Dive Fisheries Sectoral Meeting

Please be advised that Fisheries and Oceans Canada will be holding a Sectoral advisory meeting with all commercial dive fisheries to discuss recent updates regarding West Coast Commercial Fisheries Modernization. This meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025 via Microsoft Teams, an online video chat platform. 

In this meeting, we will: 
- Provide an update on the file overall, including what DFO has heard to date from recent engagement, and our next steps with each of the main topic areas
- Facilitate a discussion on advisory board composition, and how we can achieve greater inclusion of working harvesters on advisory committees
