FN1181-Groundfish: Lingcod - Coastwide Closure Effective November 14, 2025

Lingcod closes for commercial fishing by hook and line/trap gear effective 23:59 h local time, November 14, 2025 (to revoke Variation Order 2025-112 and 2025-113). From November 15, 2025 until March 31, 2026 a spawning closure for the retention of Lingcod by hook and line gear will be in effect for all areas. 

All commercial hook and line/trap vessels that have retained any Lingcod must have their fish validated by a DFO-certified dockside observer no later than November 21, 2025. 

Permanent reallocation requests for the 2025/2026 season for all species must be submitted to GMU prior to 16:00 February 2, 2026.  

Temporary reallocation requests for the 2025/2026 season for all species must be submitted to GMU prior to 16:00 February 27, 2026.
