FN0601-In-season Changes to the 2025/2026 Groundfish Trawl Harvest Plan re - Adjustments to Some Temporary Species Caps Effective June 27, 2025.
Groundfish Trawl licence holders and harvesters are advised of the following harvest plan changes that have been adopted for the Commercial Groundfish Trawl Fishery effective immediately. These changes were discussed and recommended to DFO by the Groundfish Trawl Advisory Committee at its June 26, 2025 meeting. The following Individual Groundfish Trawl Temporary Quota Species Caps changes are now in effect: Widow Rockfish ---------------------- 12% Canary Rockfish --------------------- 11% Silvergray Rockfish ----------------- 10% Pacific Ocean Perch ----------------- 11% Yellowmouth Rockfish ----------------- 8% Rougheye & Blackspotted Rockfish ---- 12% Dover Sole --------------------------- 8% Pacific Cod ------------------------- 20% Sablefish ---------------------------- 9% Bocaccio Rockfish ------------------- 12% Walleye Pollock --------------------- 20% Petrale Sole ------------------------ 15% Long Nose Skate --------------------- 20% All other individual quota species caps for the groundfish trawl sector remain unchanged.
