FN0021-In-season Changes to the 2024/2025 Groundfish Trawl Harvest Plan re - Adjustments to Some Temporary Species Caps Effective January 9, 2025.
Groundfish Trawl licence holders and harvesters are advised of the following harvest plan changes that have been adopted for the Commercial Groundfish Trawl Fishery effective immediately. These changes were discussed and recommended to DFO by the Groundfish Trawl Advisory Committee at its January 8, 2025 meeting. The following Individual Groundfish Trawl Temporary Quota Species Caps changes are now in effect: Widow Rockfish ------------- 30% Silvergray Rockfish -------- 21% Pacific Ocean Perch -------- 16% Yellowmouth Rockfish ------- 17% Rougheye Rockfish ---------- 25% Bocaccio Rockfish ---------- 12% Lingcod -------------------- 10% Petrale Sole --------------- 25% Arrowtooth Flounder -------- 21% Sablefish ------------------ 25% Pacific Cod ---------------- 20% Pollock -------------------- 50% Longnose Skate ------------- 20% All other individual quota species caps for the groundfish trawl sector remain unchanged.
