Closing 23:59 December 16, 2019 in the following Geoduck Management Areas (GMAs). SUMMARY: 26B, Mission Group Variation Order 2019-588 revoked FISHERY CONTINUES: 24A06b, East Maurus Channel 24B02b, Calmus Pass 24B03, Millar Channel Variation Order Nos 2019-676 to -678. Note: Please see the most recent Fishery Notice - Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Update, as recommended by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and issued by DFO. Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Updates can change at any time please confirm the required Pacific Fisheries Management Subarea is open prior to fishing. NOTES: North Coast and East Coast Vancouver Island areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2019/20 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through Geoduck beds and GMAs.
