FN0706- Sanitary - Changes to Sanitary Closure for Bivalve Shellfish in Area 15.
The following new, revised or revoked sanitary shellfish closure boundaries are now in effect as a result of recommendations from the Pacific Region Interdepartmental Shellfish Committee: Closure 15.25 Homfray Channel - reinstated sanitary closure. The waters and intertidal foreshore of Homfray Channel, North of Lloyd Point, within a distance of 125 meters from the outer perimeter of the floating living accommodation located at or near 50°11.98' north latitude and 124°36.43' west longitude, within aquaculture tenure land file #2407754. [NAD83] January 1 to December 31 Note that this notice does not describe other sanitary closures which may be in effect, or Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP, red tide), Domoic Acid Poisoning and Diarrheic Shellfish Poisoning and other marine biotoxin closures.
