FN0670-SANITARY - Emergency Closure for all bivalve shellfish in a portion of Lancelot Inlet, Subarea 15-4 which includes a portion of BC Land Registry Shellfish Aquaculture Tenure #2401542.
Effective immediately there is a harvest prohibition for all bivalve shellfish from a portion of BC Aquaculture Tenure Land File #2401542, in Subarea 15-4, a portion of Lancelot Inlet, until further notice. Due to potential contamination, the Pacific Region Interdepartmental Shellfish Committee agree a closure is warranted for all bivalve shellfish until further information can be obtained and assessed. Emergency Closure Area 15.kk - Portion of Aquaculture Lease Land File # 2401542 Lancelot Inlet - The waters and intertidal foreshore of the cove located south of Bunster Point in Lancelot Inlet, inside a line drawn from a point on land at 50° 3.088' north latitude and 124° 42.650' west longitude, thence southeasterly to a point on land at 50° 3.012' north latitude and 124° 42.559' west longitude.
