Fishery Notice

The following new, revised or revoked sanitary shellfish closure boundaries are 
now in effect as a result of recommendations from the Pacific Region 
Interdepartmental Shellfish Committee: 

Closure 6.2	Higgins Passage - the existing closure has been revoked.

Closure 6.5	Swindle Island - the existing closure has been revoked.

Closure 7.3	Higgins Passage - the existing closure has been revoked.

Closure 7.4	Berry Inlet - the existing closure has been amended (reduced)

The waters and intertidal foreshore of Mouat Cove, Berry Inlet lying west of a 
line drawn from a point on land at 52°16.51' north latitude and 128°19.05' west 
longitude southwesterly to a point of land at 52°16.32' north latitude and 128°
19.27' west longitude.  [NAD83]

January 1 to December 31

Closure 7.8	Cultus Sound - the existing closure has been revoked.

Closure 7.12	Return Cove - the existing closure has been revoked.

Closure 7.13	Yeo Cove - the existing closure has been revoked.

Closure 7.15	Southeast Chatfield Island - the existing closure has been 
revoked.

Closure 15.25	Homfray Channel - the existing closure has been revoked.

Closure 16.33	West side of Hardy Island - the existing closure has been 
revoked.

Closure 16.43	Western Agamemnon Channel - the existing closure has been 
revoked.

Closure 18.17	Madrona Bay, Saltspring Island - the existing closure has 
been amended (expanded).

The waters and intertidal foreshore of Madrona Bay, Saltspring Island, lying 
north of a line drawn from a point of land at 48°51.31' north latitude and 123°
29.08' west longitude due east to a point of land at 48°51.31' north latitude 
and 123°28.75' west longitude. [NAD83]

January 1 to December 31

Closure 25.17	Espinosa Dock - Head of Espinosa Inlet, - the existing 
closure has been revoked.

Note that this notice does not describe other sanitary closures which may be in 
effect, or Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP, red tide), Domoic Acid Poisoning 
and Diarrheic Shellfish Poisoning and other marine biotoxin closures.  Detailed
