The commercial Prawn and Shrimp by Trap fishery will close coast-wide for the balance of the year effective 19:00 hours Thursday June 20, 2019. Spawner Index Sampling will continue to the end of the season. Vessel Masters are reminded to provide assistance to the observers. Fishery continues until 19:00 Thursday June 20, 2019 for all species of shrimp, including prawns, by trap gear in the following areas: Subareas 1-1 to 1-5 and 1-7; Subareas 2-1 to 2-9 and 2-11 to 2-100 except for the marine strict protection zones identified in the Gwaii Haanas Gina 'Waadluxan Kilguhlga Land-Sea-People Management Plan Final Zoning (Fishery Notice FN0378); Subareas 3-1 to 3-5, 3-11, 3-13, 3-15, and 3-16; Subareas 4-1 to 4-8 and 4-13 to 4-15; Subareas 5-2 to 5-22 and 5-24 Subareas 6-2, 6-3, 6-5 to 6-18 and 6-25 to 6-28; Subareas 7-1 to 7-27 and 7-29 to 7-32; Subarea 8-1 to 8-7, 8-11, 8-15 and 8-16; Subarea Area 9-1, 9-10 to 9-12; Subarea 10-1 to 10-6 and 10-11 to 10-12; Areas 101 to 110, 130 and 142 except for the Hecate Strait and Queen Charlotte Sound Glass Sponge Reefs Marine Protected Areas (Section 3.3.30 of the Commercial Harvest Plan), the Bowie Seamount Marine Protected Area (Section 3.3.31 of the Commercial Harvest Plan) and the Offshore Pacific Seamounts and Vents Fishery Closure (Section 3.3.32 of the Commercial Harvest Plan). Areas and Subareas are described in the Pacific Fishery Management Area Regulations. Variation Order Number 2019 - 346 is revoked 1900 hours June 20, 2019.
