Haida Gwaii Assessment Area

The MV Victoria Rose will complete the 19 day spawn reconnaissance survey on 
Friday April 19.  

The dive survey has concluded spawn assessments in Skincuttle Inlet, around 
Burnaby Island and Hutton Inlet. The dive charter vessel MV Haida Spirit is 
currently assessing spawns in the Louise Island area and will complete the 18 
day dive charter on April 20.

More detailed descriptions of spawn areas will be provided in a FN in the 
following week.

Area 2W 

The surface survey charter vessel MV Atlas concluded spawn assessments in 
between Port Louis and West Skidegate from April 1 to April 6.  Spawn was 
observed through Otard Bay, Port Louis and Port Chanal.

More detailed descriptions of spawn areas will be provided in a FN in the 
following week.
