Fishery Notice

Groundfish licence holders and harvesters are notified that until 16:00 hours 
on Friday, April 5, 2019, reallocations of 2019/20 underage quota will be 
permitted in situations where the underage quota being reallocated has already 
been caught. 

Prior to March 27, 2019, the Groundfish Management Unit did not permit any 
Groundfish trawl reallocations for the 2019/20 season to occur.  As a result, 
GMU is providing licence holders the ability to reallocate underage quota that 
would have been reallocated at the start of the 2019/20 fishing season if 
licence holders were permitted to do so. 

After 16:00 hours on April 5, 2019, reallocation of 2019/20 underage quota that 
has already been caught will not be permitted. This will remain in effect until 
the end of the 2019/20 season.
