The seine test vessel MV Queen's Reach arrived in Louscoone Inlet on March 9, 2019 for a 25 day charter of Haida Gwaii major (2E) and minor (2W) stock assessment areas. Sounding and test setting occurred throughout the major stock assessment area from March 9 to 16. Queen's Reach moved to Area 2W on March 18 to assess the minor stock assessment area for approximately 6 days. The vessel is expected to return to the major stock assessment area to continue assessments on approximately March 25.
