Closing 23:59 Hours March 18, 2019 in the following Geoduck Management Areas (GMAs): SUMMARY: CCA01 McMullin Group CCA02 Stryker Island CCA03 Tribal Group CCA04 Admiral Group Variation Order No. 2019-151 is revoked. The north coast fishery continues in the following GMAs: PRG01 Conel Island PRG02b Baron Island North Variation Order No. 2019-87 CCA05 Prince Group CCA08 Simmonds Group Variation Order No. 2019-152 Note: Please see the most recent Fishery Notice - Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Update, as recommended by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and issued by DFO. Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Updates can change at any time please confirm the required Pacific Fisheries Management Subarea is open prior to fishing. DETAILS: NOTES: South Coast areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2019/20 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through geoduck beds and GMAs.
