Closing 23:59 Hours February 26, 2019 in the following Geoduck Management Areas (GMAs): SUMMARY: QCA11a Tanu Island Northwest QCA11b Tanu Island Northeast Variation Order No. 2019-14 is revoked. QCB02a Carpenter Bay West (Rankin) QCB02b Carpenter Bay West (Iron) QCB03 Carpenter Bay South QCB04 Carpenter Bay East (excluding Subarea 2-18 portion) Variation Order No. 2018-610 is revoked. QCF01 Upper Juan Perez QCF02 Ramsay and Bischof Islands QCF03a De La Beche Island QCF03b Hoskins Islets Variation Order No. 2018-612 is revoked. QCF04 Werner Bay QCF05a Huxley Island QCF05b Alder Island Variation Order No. 2019-05 is revoked. The 2018/2019 North Coast season is complete. Note: Please see the most recent Fishery Notice - Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Update, as recommended by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and issued by DFO. Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Updates can change at any time please confirm the required Pacific Fisheries Management Subarea is open prior to fishing. DETAILS: NOTES: South Coast areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2018/19 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through geoduck beds and GMAs.
