Fishery Notice

All hook and line harvesters are reminded of the 72 hour closures in order to 
maintain a fair and orderly opening for the 2019 Pacific Halibut fishery.   

The following areas are closed to hook and line fishing for Sablefish, Rockfish 
and Schedule II groundfish species from 12:00 hours, March 12, 2019 to 12:00 
hours, March 15, 2019. 

Those portions of Area 101 that are:
east of the meridian passing through 134 deg 00.0 min west longitude;
west of the meridian passing through 132 deg 40.0 min west longitude; and
south of the parallel passing through 54 deg 30.0 min north latitude.

Those portions of Subareas 102-2, 102-3, 108-2, 130-2, 130-3 and 142-1 that are 
inside a line:
that begins at-------52 deg 11.0 min north, 131 deg 22.16 min west,
then westerly to-----52 deg 10.0 min north, 131 deg 30.0 min west,
then true south to---51 deg 30.0 min north, 131 deg 30.0 min west,
then true east to----51 deg 30.0 min north,  130 deg 00.0 min west,
then true north to---52 deg 10.0 min north, 130.00 deg .0 min west
then westerly to-----52 deg 13.0 min north, 131 deg 00.3 min west.

Those portions of Area 111 and Subarea 130-1 that lie inside a line that:
begins at-----------51 deg 15.0 min north, 130 deg 00.0 min west,
then true east to---51 deg 15.0 min north, 129 deg 30.0 min west,
then true south to--51 deg 00.0 min north, 129 deg 30.0 min west,
then true west to---51 deg 00.0 min north, 130 deg 00.0 min west,
then true north to the beginning point.

Please note Variation Orders 2019-075, 2019-076 and 2019-077 are in effect.
