Fishery Notice

The 2019/20 commercial fishery for Trawl, Sablefish, Rockfish Outside, Rockfish 
Inside and Dogfish will be open at 00:01 hours local time, February 21, 2019, 
until 23:59 hours local time, February 20, 2020. Please refer to the 2019/2020 
Groundfish Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for more information 
regarding the management of these fisheries. An electronic version of the IFMP 
can be found at: http://waves-vagues.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/Library/40765167.pdf. 
Current closures are listed in Appendix 10: Fishery Closures for Groundfish 
Hook and Line Fisheries within the Groundfish IFMP.

Please note the following variation orders that have been revoked and replaced:
Trawl: 2018-110 and 2018-111 are revoked and replaced with 2019-53 and 2019-54;
Sablefish: 2018-78 and 2018-79 are revoked and replaced with 2019-40 and 2019-
41; 
Rockfish (Inside and Outside): 2018-73 is revoked and replaced with 2019-36; and
Dogfish: 2018-74 is revoked and replaced with 2019-37.
