FN0110-Clarification of FN0107 Changes to Hook & Line Fishing Restrictions for ITQ Excess Overage and Rules for Carryover of ITQ Quota Underage (Yelloweye Rockfish)

2018/2019 Carryover of Directed and Non-Directed Species ITQ Underage 
(Yelloweye Rockfish)

Commercial groundfish hook and line and trap licences will be permitted to 
carryover uncaught ITQ up to 30% of their total directed or non-directed 
species ITQ, except Sablefish, Yelloweye and Dogfish. Any amount above the 30% 
will be forgone.  

Commercial groundfish hook and line and trap licences will be permitted to 
carryover uncaught Yelloweye ITQ up to 100% of their ITQ by area at the end of 
the 2018/2019 fishing season. This amount includes any reallocations made 
during the year. This underage poundage will be added to the licence's ITQ 
holdings in 2019/2020.
