Pursuant to Variation Order 2019-594, the 2018/2019 Food and Bait Herring 
Fishery in the Strait of Georgia will close to fishing at 23:59 hours February 
12, 2019. 

This end of season closure is part of the 2018/2019 Integrated Fisheries 
Management Plan for Pacific Herring.
