Fishery Notice

Fisheries and Ocean Canada is soliciting comments on the draft 2019-2020 
Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for Pacific Albacore Tuna.  A copy 
of the draft IFMP can be requested by sending an email to bradley.langman@dfo-
mpo.gc.ca. Comments will be accepted until February 15, 2019.

The draft IFMP contains information on a number of changes that relate directly 
to the operation of the fishery.  Significant changes from previous years are 
related to hail reporting requirements, permitted gear, permitted areas, 
registration with international organizations, and other issues.
