FN0018-Fisheries and Aquaculture Clean Technology Adoption Program Application Deadlines
The Fisheries and Aquaculture Clean Technology Adoption Program (FACTAP) can provide funding of up to 75% of project costs to improve the environmental performance of the industry. The funding can support the industry with the adoption or adaptation of market-ready clean technologies for aquaculture, wild capture harvesting and seafood processing operations. Key dates for the first application intake for 2019/2020 are: January 25, 2019: Expression of Interest (Application) Deadline February 1, 2019: Project Proposal Template Deadline April 1, 2019: Successful applicants notified Those requiring assistance with their application may set up an appointment with the Regional Program Coordinator. The following dates are available for meetings outside Vancouver: January 16, 2019 - Nanaimo January 22, 2019 - Prince Rupert January 24, 2019 - Victoria Please contact the Regional Program Coordinator at least 1 week prior to the date to set up an appointment. Other locations are available upon request. Please note that limited amounts of funding are available to support specific types of clean technologies and/or processes. Once funds have been allocated to a particular type of project, the likelihood of funding for similar projects will diminish. Projects funded in the past will receive lower priority for funding.
