Fishery Notice

Below is an update and request for contact details on behalf of the Commercial 
Salmon Advisory Board (CSAB).  This information has also been emailed to all 
vessel owner contacts on record.


To All Commercial Salmon License Holders

The Commercial Salmon Advisory Board (CSAB) is currently engaging with the 
Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) on both licensing issues and matters 
with respect to implementing the updated Commercial Salmon Allocation 
Framework, on behalf of all license holders. 

Unfortunately the Area Harvest Committees, UFAWU-Unifor and Native Brotherhood 
of B.C. do not have complete lists with contact information for everyone.  We 
are asking that you contact all Area Harvest Committees representatives that 
you hold licenses in as well as Union and Native Brotherhood representatives if 
you are so aligned.  These contact representatives will be distributing 
information materials as well as seeking your input to possible changes to 
licensing rules.
