Opening 00:01 Hours September 22, 2017 in the following Geoduck Management Areas (GMAs). An asterisk indicates a change in area description since the last rotation: SUMMARY: PRA14 Moore Islands Variation Order No. 2017-501 is in effect. The north coast fishery continues in the following GMAs: PRF02a, Stephens Island Southeast Variation Order No. 2017-468 Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Updates can change at any time please confirm the required Pacific Fisheries Management Subarea is open prior to fishing. DETAILS: GMA PRA14, Moore Islands: That portion Subarea 106-2 excluding the portion of Subarea 106-2 east of a line from the boundary of 106-2 at 52 degrees 34.44 minutes north latitude, 129 degrees 10.03 minutes west longitude to the eastern most islet of the Normansell Islands at 52 degrees 33.24 minutes north latitude, 129 degrees 10.62 minutes west longitude then back to the boundary line at 52 degrees 31.68 minutes north latitude, 129 degrees 07.79 minutes west longitude. NOTES: South Coast areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2017/18 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through geoduck beds and GMAs.
