Fishery Notice

Future Area D gill net opportunities for chinook in Area 25 will be dependent 
on observations of escapements to the Conuma River and environmental conditions 
that ensure successful broodstock collection by the Conuma Hatchery. A gill net 
opening, including Moutcha Bay, may be announced by Fishery Notice when these 
conditions develop. Area D harvesters are advised that an opening could be 
announced with short notice.
