Fishery Notice

The Central Coast Coho Limited Entry Demonstration Fishery is hereby closed 
effective 23:59 hours August 31, 2017.

Catch from this fishery must be separated from catch caught in other areas or 
in the main fishery to facilitate dockside CWT and DNA sampling.

All vessels are required to ensure that all coho salmon heads are retained. 
Exemptions listed by Fishery Notice (e.g. FN0521) do not apply to this fishery. 
Please refer to FN0522 or your Area F Conditions of Licence for salmon head 
retention and delivery requirements.  

All vessels are required to contact JOT to arrange for dockside sampling of 
fish caught in Areas 6-8 and 106-109.  Vessel masters must phone JO Thomas & 
Associates (JOT) at 1-888-624-2646; the day prior to landing, between 7:00 AM 
and 5:00 PM. Landing of catch can only occur at designated landing ports as 
follows: 
-Masset
-Queen Charlotte
-Prince Rupert / Port Edward
-Port Hardy
-Vancouver

VO# 2017-CCTR-01 is hereby revoked beginning at 23:59 hours on August 31, 2017.
