SUMMARY: 24A02a, Yarksis Variation Order 2017-409 revoked Fishery Continues: 24A06a, Yellow Bank Variation Order 2017-421 24A06b, East Maurus Channel 24A06c, Elbow Bank North 24A06d, Elbow Bank South 24B02b, Calmus Pass Variation Order 2017-410 24A05, Lemmens Inlet Variation Order 2017-398 Note: Please see the most recent Fishery Notice - Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Update, as recommended by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and issued by DFO. Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Updates can change at any time please confirm the required Pacific Fisheries Management Subarea is open prior to fishing. NOTES: North Coast and East Coast Vancouver Island areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2017/18 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through Geoduck beds and GMAs.
