FN0832-SANITARY - Area 15 - Emergency Closure for Bivalve Shellfish Subarea 15-4, Trevenen Bay, which includes BC Land Registry Shellfish Aquaculture Tenure #2401589 is now revoked


Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency 
have advised that the emergency closure in Area 15 which included BC 
Aquaculture Tenure Land File #2401589 enacted on March 10, 2017 is no longer 
necessary. Therefore, emergency closure 15.jj for bivalve shellfish, as 
described below, is now revoked.

Emergency Closure Area 15.jj - Aquaculture Lease Land File # 2401589.

The waters and intertidal foreshore of BC Land Registry aquaculture tenure # 
2401589, Subarea 15-4, Trevenen Bay, inside a line drawn from point in water at 
50°01.89' north latitude and 124°45.11' west longitude, thence northeasterly to 
a point on the western shore of Coode Island at 50°01.92'north latitude and 124°
45.05'west longitude, thence along the shoreline to a point on land at 50°
01.62' north latitude and 124°44.59' west longitude, thence southwesterly to a 
point in water at 50°01.58' north latitude and 124°44.67' west longitude, 
thence northwesterly to a, back to the point of commencement. [NAD83].
